1st steps to take on a new PC before installing CS5?

i have new i7 pc set arrive next week , when want make sure break in , add needed updates before installing premiere cs5. here's checklist far:

1. update system bios.

2. update video card drivers (i'm getting nvidia gtx-470)

3. install anti-virus software (i use avast , microsoft security essentials)

is there else think should done before loading precious adobe install dvd?

i'm adding second hard drive video files... forgot, should formated fat or other format?

and once premiere installed, assume should check see if there updates?

for final step after premiere installed i'll perform gtx-470 mercury hack , (god willing) i'll in hd real time editing heaven!

2nd hard drive minimum... use 3 hard drives... drives ntfs, never fat32

you should buy software make full backup of hard drive external usb hard drive... makes restoring easy

since runs off of bootable cd via linux (the zip download includes program make bootable cd) reads on drive, hidden registration information
