Adobe Bridge CS 5 and Photoshop Elements 8 compatibility?

i have photoshop elements 8 installed camera raw 5.5 on windows 7 platform.  purchased photoshop cs 5 came camera raw 6.2.  both products work independently.  i'm encountering issue when use adobe bridge access image file processing in camera raw 6.2, changes made file show in adobe bridge, not observable in photoshop elements organizer.  when @ file properties can see camera raw 6.2 updated file , updated date appear in ps elements organizer.  items listed in camera raw metadata different in 2 products (ps vs pse).  i'm wondering if camera raw 6.2 writing data in structure not supported camera raw 5.5?  updating pse camera raw 6.2 version solve mystery or introduce more serious problem?

 

i happen of features of pse organizer not available in adobe bridge i'd have them work together.

here's additional information obtained after further investigation.

 

i edited .nef file adobe bridge using camera raw 6.2, saved file.  checked windows explorer see file modification date , time reflected current time -- did.  viewed file in pse 8 organizer.  file did not reflect changes updated thumbnail.  made clear changes had been made, however, there noticable difference between renderings of image in 2 applications.  colors appeared more saturated in pse displayed version.

 

i've tried update pse 8 camera raw plug-in distributed version 5.5 current version 6.2 not successful.  online instructions don't seem address fine points of making work on windows 7 64-bit system.

 

another less serious issue tags , captions don't seem totally mobile between 2 applications.
