Thread: How did the names for these folders change?

something odd happened 2 folders names changed , didn't , don't know how happened. i'm hoping might

i'm braking down in steps went threw in case matters i've been cleaning music folder

looked in /home/daniel/music find folder named rifftrax had 1 file in reefer_boy.mp3
opened rifftrax folder , created new folder called reefer_madness
moved reefer_boy.mp3 new folder (reefer_madness)
moved music folder clicking on open parent folder button twice
saw maybe second rifftrax folder
saw movement among folder (that didn't far can tell) , rifftrax folder gone
searched rifftrax , rifftrax in case case sensitive nether search found
searched reefer , did find reefer_boy.mp3 odd thing in /music/the rifftones/music riffing

didn't create ether the rifftones or music riffing folders , have no idea came or how names of original folders changed. did have banshee open in background. banshee have done that?


ps not drugs cannot reason why happened. i'm saying in case think because of files , folders reefer in name.

yes, if turned option on (i believe off default). in banshee preferences, there "update file , folder names" option.
