Flex 3.5 data visualization license

hi,

 

for flex 3.5,  data visualization library freely available, it's licensing  unclear me. still need flex builder license if want to  use in commercial product?

 

the legal stuff page (http://opensource.adobe.com/wiki/display/flexsdk/legal+stuff#legalstuf f-licensesofthevariousflexsdkpackages) mentions:

"adobe add-ons open source flex sdk – package contains  of items in adobe flex  sdk , not in open  source flex sdk. downloading file will  allow bring open  source flex sdk parity adobe  flex sdk. package includes  adobe flash player, adobe air, the  advanced font encoding  libraries, , the code allows licensing of things data visualization components. of these elements licensed under the  adobe flex sdk license."

 

but don't understand means. "code allows licensing of data visualization" else "data visualization" library?

the data visualization components open sourced, done in quiet , lazy manner. nobody ever bothered update descriptions on open source download page reflect change , (as far can tell) never bothered repackage it. if want source, have go digging through flex svn. reading source, can find kinds of details deliberately undocumented reflecting when adobe didn't want messing and/or wanted give reason pay. no cleanup. released as-is.

 

for me it's been great since @ last able dive in , understand how components work, extend them, , can fix quirks easily.
