hi -

i'm running ubuntu 10.04 , know have several duplicate files on lacie internetspace drive, sitting on home network.

have files (images, documents, spreadsheets etc) duplicated across computer , harddrive.

there de-duping application can use identify these files , allow me delete them?

try fdupes - it's command-line-based program, it's pretty straightforward. terminal:

sudo apt-get install fdupes

then

code:

man fdupes

to see options.

Ubuntu
