Automate Indesign With VB.NET

hi,

 

i need advice you. explain current condition , suggest me solution.

 

currently using pagemaker 6.5 create packages, these packages contains pdf documents links table of contents.

 

using vb6 applicaiton, opening created package file , printing package file , closing package file using dde commands.

 

i wants replicate same thing in vb.net. planning replace pagemaker 6.5 other product. thought might use indesign.

please suggest , how automate indesign vb.net, , suitable replacement pagemaker 6.6?

i've been using vb.net (working in visual studio 2005) automate indesign cs3 tasks year. can lot it. biggest problem there doesn't seem documentation beyond vs's object browser, gives basic information objects, properties, , methods , have use trial , error syntax right. far, haven't found in indesign using user interface can't desktop app written in vb.net.
