Suggestions for software download site - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi all,

i starting new web design project client wants sell small database software packages online. new area me, feel motivated challenge.

i'm wondering if can recommend extensions or plugins manage of features client has requested.

these features wants:
1) free updates on 12 months , therefore record of when user downloaded software
2) able download trial , purchase software through site.
3) way of controlling version releases.

if has general advice on how set , manage software site more pleased hear it.

otherwise advice on extensions , plugins appreciated.
