windows not see linux partitions. windows install primary ntfs (or maybe fat?) partition boot flag or unallocated space available primary partition. should able shrink ubuntu partition , make dual boot.

use gparted create ntfs primary partition , set boot flag on partition. windows installer see it.

each ms have own boot loader make second primary partition , set boot flag on, install 2nd product in it. multibooters, pictures here worth 1000+ words
