i don't know if right area post this, i've been making programs myself find useful , wondering how start distributing them (open source of course).

i've been looking launchpad, how people programs on software center?

of programs made bash scripts (like winetricks), can distributed same way?

you can upload , share sorts of things @ http://gnome-look.org/. it's great sharing scripts, wallpapers, icon sets, themes, screensavers, desklets, screenlets, fonts, cliparts, systemsounds, etc. there option add other stuff well, including apps.

also, depending on applications are, check out http://www.webupd8.org/ , http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/ too.

, yes, launchpad great source upload debs, can't find in official repos. often, sites mentioned above advertise apps find interesting , share creation others. if it's debs, go launchpad. if it's scripts , whatnot, gnome-look option. , if it's really, good, webupd8 or omubuntu folks put posting know check out.
