Thread: transferring files from old hdd to new hdd

took me while figure out how mount drive since kubuntu didnt wanna instantaneously; situation this, want move files dying hd fresh 1 , root wont let me, wont prompt me sign in.

have no idea how through terminal. there simpler way im missing?

try launch file browser gksudo:
