Flex form to insert data into Database

hey!

i'm new flex , trying few basic features working.

i've followed couple video tutorials on how create form , have insert data database, reason data never gets written db.

 

i've followed following 2 tutorials:

both quite easy follow reason when run application , enter data nothing gets saved database...  else have issue or information may in resolving issue?

funny should that. logged onto these forums because had been following the

"build application in hour" tutorial (employees/departments) , ran same hurdle. seems work fine (i can retrieve records) when go add record , hit submit nothing happens. no error messages, no record in database, nothing. difference i'm trying use sql server 2008 express database through coldfusion. dsn in cf administrator validates fine , flash remoting set on nothing happens.

 

i saw poster similar issue in comments section of 1 of tutorials response adobe tech was, put mildly, inscrutable.

 

i'm comparing/contrasting c# (webforms/mvc) , flashbuilder web project i'm undertaking , while flash interface , coding model seems bit cleaner/easier data written in c#.

 

good luck, i'll root around bit more see come on issue.
