how to give menu images with name - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

when give make menu , insert image on show image not menu name..................how can solve problem.??

there 3 steps process.

first of all, create images want use menu. upload them /images/stories folder.

second, in menu manager create menu item , on right side of screen under "basic parameters" select image want use menu item.

the third step done in module manager (extensions -> module manager).

locate module menu , edit that.

on right side of screen under "other parameters" need change 2 settings. set "show menu images" "yes" , set "menu image link" "yes."

i think give effect want (if have understood correctly).

this turns off text , shows image, , makes image clickable.
