What's happening to my site? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
i have run problems since upgrade 1.5.14 1.5.15. have been diligent keeping date , have checked vulnerabilities lists floating around , knowledge had latest extension versions.
it appears able add default.htm file root folder said, 'under construction'. that's been removed. well, comp use said htaccess had been modified, inspection did not reveal different it. uploaded original , overwrote in case. config , root index have not been changed nor there evidence of other index files have been changed.
what seeing such below. common link index.php/plugins/jxshare. have uninstalled jxsharelink , removed database tables related it, doesn't help.
my url's starting act strange:
http://sitename.com/kunenaforum.html
becomes:
http://sitename.com/index.php/plugins/c ... forum.html (maybe see full link, you'll need @ address bar below)
another example this: http://sitename.com/blog.html?start=8 (section blog layout) becomes:
http://sophistimunity.com/index.php/plu ... ml?start=8
this might obvious of you, don't understand how above happening.
might site have been compromised or might there type of error in db table?
as note, i've changed passwords difficult, , scanned machine on , on various software , found nothing.
any pointers on appreciated.

this has .htaccess file, i'd reckon. named "htaccess.txt" or ".htaccess" @ moment? , in global configuration, sef urls enabled mod_rewrite?
