zooming in on cropped image

hi.

 

i have 3 pictures on screen in video.

i want zoom in on 1 picture , keep other 2 static.

 

i tried put crop effect , garbage matte on picture want zoom in on, but

when scale picture, crop/garbage matte doesn't stay cropped square want stay in.

i tried animate crop/garbage matte, gets jumpy....

 

how can zoom in on image want stay in cropped area?

for type of zoom, want keyframe fixed effect>motion>scale on time. suggest 1 in effects control panel. see fixed effects there, , click little triangle next motion, expose scale , position. use stopwatch toggle on motion keyframing, , place additional keyframes, as, , needed, adjusting scale suit.
