Thread: What does the "Fn" key do?

i have keyboard desktop has "fn" key. i've read has special functions on laptops , such. messing , arrow keys , of sudden screen went garbled splash pc shut off.
fn key on desktop? can't seem remap in "keyboard shortcuts" menu.

try system > keyboard > "layouts" tab > "options" button adjust keyboard settings.
