CS5 crashes while scanning. Any suggestions?

i have updated (plugins, patches, drivers, etc.), , photoshop cs5 repeatedly crashes while scanning. can bring scanner in import menu , preview function goes ok, crashes when hit "scan". have 32 bit macpro running snow leopard , have checked photoshop load in 32 bit. have epson artisan 800 all-in-one. scanner works fine photoshop cs4 , works fine using epson scan software. suggestions?

i don't know how fix crash problem, however, try scanning outside of photoshop faster workflow.  during scan can working on other documents.
