Forcing Encore CS4 not to transcode. Almost given up.

hi everybody.

 

i'm @ wit's end here. system specs in profile.

my source footage 1440x1080 30p.

 

i've launched ame, , used templates closest match source footage..ame encoded .m2v files. again, these templates automatic, , haven't modified make encore burp....

playback flawless on powerdvd.

 

unfortunately, encore wants transcode.

no matter project setting use in encore, cannot seem keep happy..this bd projects of course.

 

 

with sd projects, .m2v files don't need transcoding..

searches in previous discussions yield no better results....am missing something??

 

i can't believe how many hours i've lost cs4 package..i've lost more time trying figure out why things don't work, being productive....sorry rant, doesn't seem right....ame hanging, adobe dynamic link not working correctly encore, preview on menus not responding etc...i mean, isn't right..

 

i'm spent.

- not sure if cs3 and/or cs4 read of cs5 files/formats, or "some" of them
- if having encore problems, make sure files "legal" dvd or bluray
