hello, in webpage i'm developing, frontpage shows news section articles bloc. want concrete article appear first one, , after it, normal news ordered date (like it's working now). i tryied create new module, problem when go pictures or links pages, new module appear first one. it's logical. think, component has stand alone on main page allowing joomla switch between different pages in normal way. i tried "news" section description, users can't modify frontend. i don't know how explain better, it's need "always on top" option article. or maybe module give concrete article latest date (because "news" section articles sorted date"). do have idea about? thanks! might not best idea, duplicate news module , assign article want on top, , rest of artilces duplicate Board index Joomla! hi guys,   i'm working on cp5. when publish swf compressed resolution, lot of mess line appeared in video. example, screen recorded 1280*1024, , used rescale project 70%(both height , width). after published, mess line appeared in swf. or, published swf without compression, swf played in webpage(640*540), mess line appeared. reason? it's there solution? thank u!   best regards, nick hello,   what video quality setting of slides? default quality low 8-bit. depending on objects can indeed lead issue referring too. not know how important filesize of published swf you. perhaps 1 of these tips help: try first override quality settings when publishing , choose quality high deactivating 'retain slide quality settings' in preferences (see screenshot); visible when previewing allows check if issue solved. can done can see in screenshot: since first method give high quality slides, filesize of swf incremented. second method: increase slide quality slides necessary (slides graph...

hi! sorry ask i'm trying fix days , had no luck. goal following: want 1 samba network share family data. multiple users should have access share win7 pcs not folders should access able everyone. old windows server managed changing ntfs rights these folders. i've installed samba , recommended gnome utility (ubuntu 10.4). first testing made samba share access right everyone. fine on win... allowed user. worked after little bit of playing global samba settings , pw encryption... created new ubuntu user , configured new samba user connection ubuntu user (like described in many tutorials using samba config tool). changed access right of samba share allow new user no connection possible. @ point original user working same pc without problem. started thinking of windows time , decided search file system rights ntfs. i'm using ext4 way. made chmod 777 -r new users login... (i'm not sure why there no user dependency chmod) used chown -r seems there...

when try upload powerpoint file of type adobe connect pro, coversion fails , "error converting file message."  uninstalled adobe connect pro add-in , allowed acp reinstall didn't either.   does have idea going on here?   thanks! do have embed objects? , these ppt or pptx files created windows version of powerpoint, connect not support mac ppt files.  have tried simple ppt text?   how many slides?  uploading content folder or meeting?  if meeting may need author privs also. i bought epub book kobo (buddhist scriptures - penguin).  when tried download it, got message:   error getting license server communication problem: e_adept_user_auth   i contacted kobo customer service.  tried downloading , got same error, concluded problem "ade server" , directed me adobe.  responsible , how fixed? the common cause error going misconfiguration  on content server side (which run either kobo or their  partners , not adobe).   however support adobe can had opening web support case.  start @ http://www.adobe.com/support/digitaleditions , click on 'submit web case'.  won't bounced around between kobo , us.
