i able generate 3d pdf files autodesk inventor cad models (e.g. .iam files) using adobe acrobat pro extended.  constrained use inventor 2009.  when installed acrobat pro extended, able make work after installing import3d update at:   http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpid=4073   recently (9/5/2010), updated acrobat pro extended version 9.3.4.  believe following update, lost ability read in inventor 2009 files.  acrobat pro extended gives error messages:   "exception has been raised" followed by:   "acrobat not open 'file' because either not supported file type or because file has been damaged (for example, sent email attachment , wasn't correctly decoded).  create adobe pdf document, go source application. print document adobe pdf."   this happened when first installed acrobat pro extended , before installed import3d update mentioned above.  tried re-installing update installer gives error message:   "no qualif...

hi! today i've found cache of old dvd-ram disks. bought couple few years when experimenting backup solutions using them. anyway, cut long story short, came formatted fat32. tried format udf windows, format failed , unable format them udf or fat32, thought there incompatibility between drive , them or damaged them. today decided give them 1 more try before trashing them. managed format them ext2 without problems, i'd use them on windows computers too. installed udftools , dvd+rw tools , tried use sudo mkudffs --media-type=dvdram /dev/sr0 format disks. unfortunately, response was: "trying change type of multiple extents" mean , how can fix that? edit: on forum, advised try dvd+rw-format /dev/dvd -format=full -ssa=default format did complete, still same error mkudffs , still have no idea do. i'm working on existing joomla installation, seems clone of online shop. don't need shop i'd use conventional articles rather virtuemart, however, can't articles display in of templates, virtuemart content seems show up. if disable virtuemart 404 module not found error. i'm new whole joomla system , puzzled. many suggestions. adda would suggest uninstall virtuemart if don't need online store @ all. hello!   yes, know has been posted zillion times, issues still has not been fixed , i'm not sure why. i've tried listed in these threads, i'm hoping can help.   i'm using cs5 suite on macbook pro os x, 10.5.8   problem: when click on ae icon, bounces, splash appears, , hangs on 'initializing mediacore' 15-20 minutes   i have tried following:   -uninstalled , reinstalled -took out codec suggested interferring -uninstalled , reinstalled qt -downloaded ae update -rebooted in safe mode   i can't seem find issue. rest of programs in cs5 suite seem working fine. didn't have problem cs4.   note : noticed first time upon using maya 2010 first time in class. tried open ae import render, , that's when hung on splash. i'm not sure if maya has interferring, if that's case, have suggestions on how fix it?   thank help!   tammy see document: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/857/cpsid_85711.html   that  document talks aggressive firewall settings, we'v...

i bought notebook via mailorder wich comes 1x 2gb. has max of 2x 4gb. shoot alot of nef files on nikon. i'm shopping on ebay dram. how dram need photoshop cs5 extended,  2, 4, 6, or 8gb ? if have 64 bit system can take large memory, more better.  go 8 gb.   if building new desktop system today photoshop work i'd put @ lest 16 gb in it.  8 gb healthy notebook machine.   -noel More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

hi everyone,   i'm working on project i'm using strobe play videos off dvd. i've been able modify strobe can embedded in swf, , works both on-line , locally ( http://www.owenjonesandpartners.com/clients/adobe/ado665-govt-dvd/app/ ). however, run problems when wrap parent projector mprojector. receive 'we unable connect content you've requested" error, though have verified path flv being correct.   i know isn't straightforward situation, i'm wondering if has encountered local instance of strobe media playback being unable load local content.   many thanks, lucas hi lucastswick,   i suspect configuration not being passed correctly wrapped strobemediaplayback.   the 'we unable connect content you've requested" might appear if src config missing. need improve error reporting messages kind of situations.   -andrian More discussions in Strobe Media Playback adobe

i produced 30 minute slide show in pse 8 , saved project.  because have pre 7, pse 8 not allow me open project in pre 7 menu bar.  how can work around problem without purchasing pre 8?  want burn high resolution dvd using pre 7. have tried file> send premiere elements? may not work because of version differences but, if haven't tried it, must worth shot. can copy images pse pre - should version independent means need build slideshow in pre7. in pse slideshow can output slideshow wmv (windows movie file) in many formats, including dvd both ntsc , pal. bring pre adding menus. in pse slideshow can output slideshow directly dvd if wish.   two other points consider: you cannot create 'high resolution dvd' there no such thing. dvd either 720x480 ntsc or 720x576 pal. standards. (although can create small (perhaps 20 minutes) hi-def 'mini-blu-ray' format on dvd blank play on blu-ray player) because of standard still images include resized 720x480 ntsc. creates 2 issue...
