i use adobe premiere pro cs4,but more generic question.  shoot videos people want save long time.  burn projects dvd's (or blue-ray discs if client not mind cost).  dvd's can destroyed, lost, wear out.  best way preserve these memories?  know people charge client , use dedicated external hard drive each project.  technique not expensive, last longest?   thanks,   lisa i think use hard drive method or tape.  "view only" stuff ( dvd, blue ray ) cant used editing "again" without major quality loss due compression...so hd or tape allows save project in less compressed ( maybe "lossless" codec )...that can edited later .... if want save dvd "lifetime" make copies of dvd , store them nicely.. hola,   trabajando con indesign, aplico un efecto un texto y diferentes vectores. a la hora de exportarlo en formato .swf, con los vectores no hay ningún problema, pero en las capas de texto se ve el efecto aplicado también la línea que delimita los objetos cuando los creas, en vez de aplicarse únicamente sobre el texto. no sé si lo expicado muy bien, os pongo una imagen (es una captura del .swf una vez ya exportado y otra del .indd) ver si alguien por favor puede ayudarme eliminar esta línea alrededor de "bigues"...   gracias!   el texto parece tener un efecto de transparencia que al acoplarse (sustituirse por partes opacas en la salida swf) producen ese resultado indeseado. prueba crearlo en photoshop y colocarlo en indesign, o recolócalo tras exportar pdf (de imprenta) en indesign. acoplalo en las opciones avanzadas en modo o calidad de alta resolución. i trying animate 3d objects , photoshop cs5 crashes time after trying run little movie. otherwise ps works fine, on other tasks.   my ps-version 12.0.1 i running on new (spring 2010) macbook pro 15" 2,53 ghz i5, 4 gb ram, nvidia geforce gt 330m (256 mb vram). i on 10.6.4 , have run available apple updates. i have tested broken fonts - found none. i tried disable opengl - didn't help, crashed in way though. i tried run in 32 bit mode - same crash usual happened. photoshop set use 70% of available ram (ca 2306 mb) (i think default?). history , cache settings default. opengl set basic. the efficiency numbers on 100% (but have observed number go lower, 80 or brief moment (before crash) think went 20%).   the file not huge, 768 x 1366 pixels, have 6 layers, 5 animated, , 2 of 3d-layers (text transformed 3d-postcards). animating position , camera position (and style), not or fancy stuff. file 6,6 mb. i try render screen, if that's correct phrasing. having ps run movie on screen ...

hello, on july, post problem, nobody can me. disappointed adobe product robohelp , adobe robohelp team.   i  robohelp 6 user , install trial version of rh 8 (on same  pc without uninstall rh6) see if issues have been solved. when i  start rh8 word immediatly got message dll problem, i  decide uninstall rh8 , continue rh6, the  problem "can't read registry entry apppath".   looking the  problem in forum, use revo-uninstaller, remove registry keys  mentionned in technote of adobe. search in registry any  keys containing word "robo" , remove them. install rh6 again  (several) , problem same.   i don't understand adobe has no clear solution.   my system windows xp3 (last release, updated) , word 2000. pc.   if  have ideas more solve problem, very, very  important me. after talk real problem  makes me attempt use rh8.   best regards this forum maintained users of robohelp, not adobe, comments not seen...

i built swc (uimovieclip document) in flash cs5.   when use flash (flash player 10), can register events directly on symbols in swc. when use in air (2.0), thing can events swc's document member (there no errors when adding events other symbols in swc, never fire).   all examples found on net using flash cs3 display in web browser. could point me working solution incorporating swc's flash cs 5 air 2.0? only symbols in swc converted swc component can used in flex.   i don't understand problem if wawnt import symbol made in flash flex this:   1. create symbol 2. convert flex component (commands -> convert symbol flex component) 3. swc file 4. add project (you don't have prefer to)   5. in flex project right click -> propreties -> flex build path -> add swc or add swc folder 6. select file/folder swc 7. use symbols project   the symbols taken library not stage. oh ya... 1 more thing... if want use var myvar:movieclip = ... use uimovieclip instead...

i need able export images have edited in lr3 disk give , dialog box tells me not possible in 64 bit version.  had go bridge , changes images not seen in bridge.   if run lr on xp machine not 64 bit able export disk?  mean need use lr on old machne or use bridge on 64 bit machnine? mkaes lr less attractive , useful if these answers. you export folder , use cd/dvd authoring software burn disk.  doesn't seem big deal, , it's on 32 bit windows.  gives me chance check things out before burn disk. not sure if it's me, seems ever since updating takes extremely long time conform mpeg cs5 captures. have 20 minute hd (1280x720) video capture tape taking hours conform... still in process write this. i've have same issue other cs5 captures past week. my system intel 2.5 mhz core 2 quad 8 gb memory vista 64 os. cs5 runs off of 1 drive (d:) while files worked on over external sata raid array. there settings or tricks should know of have process done quicker? it makes me wonder why premiere has conform mpeg file created itself. don't have same issues jvc (.tod) files brought in directly hard disc based video camera.   help ! sorry come thread late. have filed bug report? if not, please so. here's link bug-report form: http://www.adobe.com/go/wish More discussions in Premiere Pro CC adobe

in troubleshooting intermittent problems application, works fine different account on same system. - rights identical between accounts - looks though there desktop difference, can't see it. - can't load gconf-editor twice (under different account names). - and, can't print out gnome configuration information each account (that nice). i'm stuck , i'm pretty confident there straightforward way compare gnome settings on same system. one, rather draconian, option wipe out gnome settings: rm -rf .gnome .gnome2 .gconf .gconfd .metacity quite broad brush, when i'm sure misconfiguration small. but, how find ?
