Template updating incorrectly

i running windows 7 ultimate... have changed boot order cd 1st... have tried @ least 3 times , goes on windows logon screen... have phoenix bios version 6... have asrock mother board amd athalon 2600-- 1 gig of ddr ram-- ati xl vga card... downloaded newest ubuntu release desk top... tried suggested burning software (no luck) tried cdburnerxp (no luck) used windows iso image burning software , (success) cd created... no joy... pc not boot ubuntu... appreciated... rod maybe have press space bar, otherwise go windows. remove in bios of pc advertising of mainboard, see more info on screen. did burn iso image, , not data cd. wat on cd if see iso file on cd not good, or try boot pc. Problems using Picture Package

hello, i using photoshop elements 8 on windows xp.  trying print multiple images on 1 sheet.  when try use picture package, set paper size @ 8x10, choose letter(4)3.5x5 layout.  gives me message "the layout selected larger paper size have chosen; clipping occur."  4 3.5x5 should require 7x10, 8x10 should enough.  click okay anyway, , shows me layout 2 pictures on it, instead of 4 asked for. can drag additional pictures on end 4 of them.  can drag photos around within border adjust cropping occurs, doesn't give me full original picture work with  i.e. head cut off here, in original, not.  also, pictures appear distorted.  have not tried printing them out see if distortion there or appears on screen.   also, able print 2 - 2.5x3.5's on 1 sheet of 4x6 paper.  however, under layouts, not give me choice of 2 2.5x3.5's.  restrictive can't customize want.  , if so, how can achieve this?   thanks help! check in setup printe...

hello,   i'm new premiere pro. i'm trying export movie, final product uploaded on web employees download on computers.   it similar situation treehugger98 posted on: http://forums.adobe.com/message/2004696   i had 3 wmv recordings of microsoft live meeting event - conference call, bunch of powerpoint slides , audio of presentation/discussion. each 25mb , 2 fps, 704 x 528, 16000 hz - 16 bit, mono.    i have selected settings project: (i'm in us) 720 x 480, 29.97 fps, 32000hz, stereo, , scaled size.   i combined few bits , pieces in one, final movie 2 hrs long. need have reasonable size output, file has downloadable, no matter settings tried - size enormous, not mention rendering time. doesn't have saved both platforms - apart designers, employee have pc, i.   could help?   thanks in advance ------------------------ i'm new premiere pro. i'm trying export movie,  final product uploaded on web employees  download on computers. -----------...

Messed up permissions and virtuemart moving from localhost - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i'm feeling bit of newb here (and am, guess)... i've been working on new joomla site, on localhost server (xampp). after fiddling while until had basic structure of down, , had figured out how set virtuemart way wanted (category module, payment , shipping methods, etc). @ point, last night, decided upload site remote server on subdomain further development (so not disrupt current static html site until new 1 ready go). used page reference upload: http://docs.joomla.org/how_do_you_copy_ ... te_host%3f everything migrated remote server fine , navigation worked - except virtuemart. images weren't loading, either in front-end or back-end, , kept getting cookies errors. clicking through cart links inexplicably send me localhost site - decided must have gotten confused , component didn't know whether presiding on local computer or remote host. uninstalled , reinstalled whole component, thinking solve problem , i'd have re-do setup. after reinstalled virtuemart comp...

so, dual-boot ubuntu 10.04 , windows 7 on computer. there games can install on windows 7, won't work, , same games have historically worked ubuntu, can't install them. cs3 photoshop , indesign starting allright. i installed again version of cd. what can not working illustrator version. patty,   it may worth uninstalling/reinstalling , using cleaner tool inbetween, http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs5clean.html (works cs3 on), starting anew in case. Offline or Missing files

i moved 5000 images new hard drive.  told lr3 find new files , thought did 8 folders in project.  now, 1 of folders, not showing in catalog. when go 1 of images appears in collection, says file offline or missing. if again try tell lr location is, doesn't find of 400 missing images.  files are, in fact, there put them. import them again uncliking "don't import duplicates" lose keywords , development work.   so.. lr thinks these shots in catalog, can't find them.. can do?  thanks   michael try adding parent folder - highlight missing folder in folder panel open context menu (right click on windows or ctrl click on mac) choose add parent folder. in same context menu check whether have option find missing folder or update folder location . won't have both, use option have search out missing folder reselect it. hello adobe forum,   i got following problem:   after update cs3 cs4 export pdf seems slower. (indesign documents allot pictures)   its same on 4 mac's following specs: mac pro 2x quad-core intel xeon 2.8 ghz , 8 gb memory (early 2008)   after testing seems 1 core goes 100% indesign proces when making pdf.   any ideas howto speedup process? your idea of slow may else's idea of fast.   without details, nobody can help.   bob More discussions in InDesign adobe

How do I uninstall Photoshop Elem. 6 free trial download that expired?

i purchased photoshop elements 8, installed on mac running os10.6+ and, far, appears ok (after doing simple trial editing).   but want remove legacy trial version of photoshop elements 6 , cv3 , version of "help."  never bought trial version before expired, has been unusable memory hog on year or so.   i read several questions/comments regarding removing legacy element versions.  1 commentator (an employee) said find uninstaller in library adobe folder 6.  followed sequence , found uninstaller new version, not elements 6.  nor did spotlight search turn located elsewhere version 6.  other users (with paid versions?) apparently found uninstaller in suggested location , successful in deleting program.   i'm not sure why trial version lacking uninstaller, how can uninstall without doing naughty thing , dropping old adobe files in trash?   it great if removal suggestions leave installation of new elements 8 intact don't have uninstall , reins...

hi all, im having issues media manager @ moment. when go , upload image comes "upload successful" image doesnt show. i have run few tests different images, different browsers , extent of different machines doesnt seem make difference. i using joomla 1.5.15 , flash uploader has been disabled. any appreciated try reseting permissions on folders , files... -------------------------------------------------------- resetting permissions turn ftp layer off , set files 644 permissions , folders 755 (if host runs suphp) , try installing again. you can reset permissions connecting hosting account via ssh , issuing following commands in /public_html folder (on cpanel host). hosting providers it's /www or /html folder. find . -type f -exec chmod 644 {} \; find . -type d -exec chmod 755 {} \; Board index Joomla! toshiba c655d-s5041 (amd v120, 2 gb ram. ati graphics 1366x768 ) fails boot @ cd or usb drive using 10.04 desktop, live, unr, or 10.10 beta same variants. crashes after ~ 0.4 - 0.5 s startup log entries on text-mode screen in cases. using 10.10-beta alternate on cd, however, able install onto attached usb drive (didn't want hose win-7 image on built-in drive), after setting acpi=off cd boot , subsequent off usb hdd post-installation. acpi=off wireless , wired lan work, no screen brightness or volume fn-key combos, no suspend/hibernate/resume functionality (not surprising given circumstances). ran out of patience @ point. nice inexpensive laptop, going tomorrow 'untouched' exchange w/something else. as noted here , install acpi=off , boot acpi=copy_dsdt resolve problem. subtract a workpath selection from a larger workpath

my job prohibits me sharing images if needed can make quick sketch if can't question across clear enough.   here have.   the image stack of objects , have made work path of objects (one large selection labeled "all" around objects isolate away background), have work path of bottom object (labeled "bottom").   my goal.   i quite often, i'd able subtract "bottom" work path selection larger "all" work path selection.   thanks   p.s. tried faq , search before posting. sorry, i'm idiot. adding layers , deleting , selecting works. have sworn there way subtract 1 selection if there please chime in. i wondering correct way of indicating numerical measurments on production art (in case overseas production).   for example, 2-1/2" or 2_1/2" ?   thank forum gurus campy,   presuming on there , sending measurements on here, may consider alternatives of using special/reduced glyphs clarity, or using decimals (2.5"), or leaving space (2 1/2), or placing " before fraction (2"1/2) (the last 1 corresponds way of saying old english speakers, may potentially confusing -_ variations).
