my employer uses system uses online pdf forms.  it's not working on system.  running macos 10.6.4, safari 5.0.1 (6533.17.8), , adobe reader 9.3.4.  have removed adobe reader app, including plugin in /library/internet plug-ins, , re-installed reader.  when click on pdf in browser, downloads, , not open in browser.  how can resolved? in snow leopard, safari 64-bit application.  adobe hasn't updated plugin run in 64-bit mode; that's why it's not loading in safari.   but can force safari run in 32-mode, , adobe plugin works expected.   here's how:   to this,   in finder go applications folder, select safari , file->get info check 'open in 32-bit mode' in general pane of dialog, close "safari info" window. relaunch safari now acrobat plugin work expected. there 1 downside this: when running in 64-bit mode, if buggy plugin (like flash) crashes, safari keeps running.  in 32-bit mode, if buggy plugin causes crash, safari crash. the ...

i have finished site built using joomla 1.5.14 , adding in google analytics tracking code before <body> tag @ foot of index.php final job. when pasted in code , viewed site had message 'restricted access' on screen. i can still access admin area fine. i tried undoing changes still error message. tried new install of uncustomised index.php file still same message. i have searched forum , found lots of advice people encountering error having installed plugin, module, component etc eg accessing phpmyadmin , uninstalling item. however, doesn't apply case , don't know have done wrong. can please? prior site working fine! thanks in advance this may due error in .htaccess or server misconfiguration. i'm not sure it. had many problems before , due little mistakes in configuration of parameters either in joomla or in server. recommend post url here it's easy view exact error. later if want can edit post , delete url after bug has been fixed ...

i installed superfish menu. in ie, when loading page, unstyled list of menu flashes before formatting take place. think due js loading after list. there work around fix this? i tried other drop down menu modules, have not found 1 works "text-align: center". messes formatting of second level submenu in ie. instead of lining right under lever 1, got shifted lot right. so either fix superfish or find module works. i appreciate help. i viewed source code web page. copied superfish js , css in <body> tag <head> tag in template. loads js before <body> , styles menu before appears on screen. my computer not reach log-in screen on start-up. monitor working; shows motherboard screen on boot , grub loads fine. when load kernel screen stays black , not change. power light blue, meaning still on , connected. when turn computer off searches inputs, usual. happened this: turned on compiz benchmark , noticed kind of low, 100 fps when around 300 after loaded.
