working in indesign , illustrator cs3 , having 2 problems:   - within illustrator have existing simple bar graph has been plotted , bar colors changed. client wants left axis changed maximum of 50% 60%. when select piece , go object; graph; type program crashes. tried 3 times in row , program crashes every time.   would graph corrupt in someway?? can resave, rename??   - other problem within indesign: select graph, edit original , illustrator crash.     peter moved illustrator preferences file trash , restarted program, opened problem file , tried again - object; graph; type , crash. i can convert image or text button, how link them both 1 button when mouseover either one, both turn color , when click on one, both turn color before jumping scene? include image , text in button's layer set. design sub-picture highlight affect both.   just remember button defined rectangle, encompasses elements in button, , buttons (no part) may overlap other button.   good luck,   hunt More discussions in Encore adobe

hi. made switch windows xp xubuntu on laptop. xubuntu choice had because of low ram issues. also, disabled gdm both renaming /etc/init/gdm.conf , modifying /etc/default/grub boot "text" parameter. when login tty1, works fine. run "startx" , stuff. when close laptop lid, system goes "lock screen". when open again, can login again password. however, few times later, cannot log in again , "authentication failed!" message. i've checked caps-lock , stuff, , i've tried million times, can't system log-in again. have tried login on tty2 , works fine. can me??? just clear, when lift laptop screen after sleep/hibernate, or cold reboot have login problems? hello,   i need flexibility of , add-on application enables me select indesign file names, page numbers & number of sheets , print them desktop printer/s.     for instance, want print following: from file 1: print 6 sheets of page 2, , 4 sheets of page 7. from file 6: print 8 sheets of page 9, , 3 sheets of page 10. from file 9: print 8 sheets of page 1, , 12 sheets of page 6.   it nice if open indesign add-on application allows me tick boxes containing file names, select page numbers within files, type in amount of pages required, select printer , press "go" that's pretty specific.   are willing pay solution? hello, have ubuntu 10.04, , windows 7 on 2 different partitions. wanted make 7 partition automount on every boot, , have done without problem in past. used ntfs-config or whatever program called this. when boot up, says: /dev/sda5: clean, 142681/25796608 files, 3062529/103171430 blocks init: ureadahead-other main process (931) terminated status 4 init: ureadahead-other main process (961) terminated status 4 also, if hit s, says: /media/os skipped user (or extent) still stays @ screen i've tried advise folks again , again not mount ms windows os partitions read/write automatically -- no 1 listens. looks have win7 partition corruption -- you're not going able repair ubuntu. ntfsfix app repairs ntfs problems, it's not substitute ms windows chkdsk (despite folks may tell you). can right boot ms windows cd/dvd , try run chdsk -- , once working, remove ms windows automount fstab fil...

our church had banquet celebrate our pastor's 40th anniversary @ church on saturday.  banquet went 1.5 hours longer anticipated , when went close out recording session there disc full error on screen (the computer in room couldn't monitor continuously).  found video file event, can't open it. there 37 gigs of info in file, , lists recording time within few minutes of when got computer, know whole banquet captured.  please help!!! how recover file?!?  there somewhere can send it? my best guess since disk filled , premiere unable "finish" writing file, may screwed on one.  if there way fix errors unfinished avi files, i'm unaware of it. i working end-user has acrobat 9 pro.  has created documents custom forms completed end-users.  copy form structure new document, when clicks edit forms gets error message "this document restricts acrobat features allow extended features in adobe reader. create copy of document not restricted, click save copy."  selects save copy, renames , saves desktop.  when tries open copy, blank.  has else experienced this?  simple step doing wrong.  suggestions or resolution appreciated.
