first let me love coldfusion , love working as possible. said, see, hear, , read alot of negative comments , general out bashing of coldfusion in other forums , settings. obviously, forum might biased, dont understand why cf not more accepted , used today. can see how people turned off cf finding out price of software. other free alternatives, while not easy learn, more overlooked faults , learning curve because it's free. 1 of concerns future of cf how longer can adobe justify price of cf when there open source alternatives available blue dragon or railo. again, i'm not here bashing cf, love it! , want continue using it, little support countless hosting providers, , industry support moving further away cf, love see solution.   i guess still dont understand why cf , many adobe products, in particular dreamweaver, hasn't procurred more substanial share of industry market. kinda makes me sad! lol   any thoughts or ideas on subject welcomed. i think adobe target "enterp...

hi guys, i'm new joomla. i've succeded installing joomla under iis7 fastcgi , php handler configurated...i've succeded installing main site engine , joomla functional now. i'm wondering whats best permission policies joomla on windows server. right now, have administrator owner of joomla folder. also, folder shared, accesible administrator (owner) on security tab. when creating new folders (i.e. on stories folder) , upload files, got "you not have right permission that" message. included "all users" listing on security tab like: "all users (co-owners)". since dont know if setup security reasons, im wondering: 1. joomla under iis7 needs specific owner accessing , manipulating editable files , folders of site? 2. there correct way stablish permissions on files , folders? (i.e. on linux 777, 775 644, etc) ? 3. on windows: folders should have permissions? ive done permission settings on linux before, dont know sure if it's same on windows...

hi there   i'm using premiere cs4 on imac (2.4ghz core 2 duo/4gb ram). i'm working h264 footage shot using eos 550d. footage on external 7200rpm g-disk connected via fw800.   i'm using premiere first time in while - i'm trying switch on final cut pro.   i'm doing edit music. have sequence settings set same thing footage - h264 1920x1080. when try , play sequence in timeline, things go out of time, footage lags, computer struggles keep itself. if render footage displays green bar, won't play without lagging or going out of time. way i've found around change video preview settings low-quality codec dv or graphics.   i know if editing in final cut, play lower quality 'preview' version while edit edit can seen in time music, , require me render if had effects on clips (which don't) - premiere have similar feature this? seems silly have render different (and bad) codec every time want see in time!   thanks More discussions in Premiere Pro CS6 ...

i'm running virtual box in windows have ubuntu 10.10 virtual machine. @ first 10.4, decided upgrade because thought might fix freezing issue had, didn't. i'm folding @ home , first clock stops. when notice that, can still perform task seems more click more unresponsive gets until can't , mouse has loading circle constantly. have force shut down virtual machine. ideas on how fix this? hello. in cmyk image, need turn on 1 layer 1 channel another, while others remain intact. m channel (the m on layer) contains information, can't print m in place. want change equal amount of k (or c, in present case, or mixture of two). know how entire image (change greyscale, duotone or whatever may apply). since need apply 1 (or selection of) layer(s), leaving others intact, not option here. i'm sure there's way achive this, can't find it. advice appreciated. just use channel mixer percentages set 100% , 0 appropriate channels. i'm using captivate 4 on windows xp platform. have question pool , random question slides in file. in compiled file, on intermittent , random basis, when answer question , click submit, file advances next question without first displaying success/failure captions, not pausing me click again before advancing. other questions act correctly, display captions, , pause until click again before proceeding next question. it's random whether erratic behavior happen, @ point happen, , questions or type of questions happen.   assuming corrupt, i've deleted , re-entered question slides, still happens. next attempt recreate question pool itself, , doesn't work, recreate entire file... jeez!   has else encountered this/have solution?   thanks. after doing more experimenting, see problem when using hot spot question type. took question slides out of pool , placed them directly in filmstrip , random factor disapeared. after answering hot spot question behavior of not displaying succ...

is there way avoid color spill in blur? image below should illustrate problem. central part of image blurred using gaussian blur. , while selection of blurred area contained gray pixels , separated red area 4-6 pixel margins, nevertheless red color spill visible in central area. so, there blur plugin, trick or solution problem?   i understand why gaussian blur behaves way does, problem abvious there should solution. appreciated.   was gray section on same layer red stuff or on different layers? hi there   my indesign running extremely slow , hangs. my machine is a 2010 macbook pro 2.66 ghz intel core i7 8 gb ram ssd hard drive it feels if wacom hangs in program. it intuos3, updated software. my cs4 runs super fast, not understand why cs5 not running smoothly. it old cs4 documents work with. but also try create new ones - makes no great difference.     does work better if set live screen redraw delayed? i using cs5 on windows vista 64 bit system. screen resolution set 1280x800. when merge hdr pro, can't see cancel or ok buttons @ bottom of window. can't resize or drag window enable viewing buttons. have no choice end program , lose changes. thoughts on how resolve this? you should able activate buttons via keyboard:  enter hits [ok] button , esc activates [cancel], dialog may need tab buttons make them work before pressing enter.  cancel button next after saturation edit box, followed ok.   the merge hdr pro window looks following in entirety, , 872 pixels high.  not designed smaller displays.     -noel More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

hi everyone, i appreciate if help. have created joomla template locally , adding content etc. have 1 image rotator working fine (simple image rotator) , 1 gallery (simple image gallery), when try add other java powered modules don't work. example if try add sliderku page images display underneath each other, , if try add 'simple image gallery' displays without java elements, page has reload every time select image.. i have tried number of different modules/plugins same problem, have not had before on number of different sites both hosted locally , remotely. ideas i've done?! thanks in advance, jim did ever find solution this? having exact same issue sliderku after restored site using joomlapak... hello,   i working on jigsaw puzzle game using flex 4.  have created puzzle object group containing of pieces.  when puzzle object created dynamically create of pieces using as3.   where problem occurs in moving pieces around puzzle area.  pieces kind of complex.  tree goes bordercontainer > group > image.  format important pieces contain correct portion of image.  noticed through debugging have done that, obviously, clicking image piece generates image click event, not border container click event.  important because when move pieces want move border container.   so given click event target become image click on, suggestions access border container in click event.  again end goal move border container.   fyi:  have tried phrase "event.target.parent.parent", first parent being group, second border container.  as3 doesnt understand second parent reference, returns group.  cannot reference border container us...

hello,   i have advanceddatagrid has hierarchicaldata data provider. now, source of hierarchicaldata arraycollections objects retrieved via rest call. every rest object has uri , therefor objects in array collection have it.   it seems flex "inserts" own uri objects shows in data grid. goes "wrong" seeing objects have uri (but debugger doesn't barf on it)   because of believe multiselect in data grid broken. can select 1 item @ time anymore. selecting succeeding items in datagrid shift+click stopped working.   could multiselect broken because of our own uri()? , solution work around.   thanks bunch,   jeroen. this getting frustrating. cannot life of me figure out how change format of title tag of site (or entire block of code <jdoc:include type="head" />). title says "home" home page , add site name , possibly other text. i have tried editing template index.php file include... - $this->setmetadata( 'title', 'site name | ' . $this->gettitle() ); also tried - $this->settitle( 'site name | ' . $this->gettitle() ); even tried (and know isn't way it) editing /libraries/joomla/document/html/renderer/head.php , modifying <title> tag right in there. positive editing core head.php file @ least have effect on title, didn't change thing. cleared browsers cache, cleared joomla's cache... still no change. is there other place i'm forgetting check? go link home page , add there. i brand new user of captivate , have finished first project.   i using captivate 5 on mac 10.6.4 , have created swf file children teaching mouse skills.   i started making demonstration using screen capture of mouse in action in word , added blank slides file activities children complete (images buttons on top click, images rollover images practice movements).  there few flash files in here more mouse practice.   when preview file in captivate working fine, when export web browser, mouse (my mouse 1 hold lick on items) visible around screen, disappears (i think behind) screen when move on there.   i have finished , took ages, there anyway can back.  i'm not sure i've done.   thank help?
