i've done bit of search, haven't come much. i've got little gateway netbook i'm using portable audio source, using rhythmbox (although potentially changing nightingale when it's released). use external amplifier , speakers, , i've got remote control change tracks , volume, typically don't sit in front of machine while playing music... of time it's off side while other stuff. now, @ home run music off desktop uses tv monitor... fine, because screen large enough , located in such place can see artist , title in rhythmbox. however, because of small screen size on netbook, can't tell (unless ear) track playing without being right next it, isn't convenient. so, i'm wondering is: possible use external, text-only, lcd or led display ubuntu, in way allow me display artist , title of playing song in rhythmbox? won't worry rhythmbox aspect of currently, i'm sure there's way pull information, possibly using last.fm or...

hi, upgraded operating system ubuntu 10.04 lts , can't seem wireless card connect our new verizon actiontec router. using encore electronics 802.11n wireless usb adapter (model: enuwi-n), had worked earlier version of ubuntu , our old router. adapter recognizes ssid of new router not connect correct wep key or encryption turned off. have tried deleting wireless profiles , manually re-creating them , still no dice. have gone website of chipset manufacturer , found latest drivers (rt2870usb(rt2870/rt2770)) adapter, which, according synaptic package manager, not have installed. go here? need install new drivers, , if how do that? appreciated. have tried connecting device? if have dual-boot, try connecting other os. i put external link in presentation people can link out external web page.  way have found put in button , direct open url when clicked on.  however, url open in seperate tab or window rather within same window presentation.  way when people close url page when done it, captivate presentation still open.  have suggestions on how this?   thanks help!   amy hi amy,   when choosing open url or file, click down-arrow button right of url text field, , choose "new."  tend uncheck "continue playing project" captivate doesn't continue playing while user looking @ other browser window.   here screenshot of selection want in captivate:   More discussions in Adobe Captivate adobe
